Twenty-time Icelandic champions Breiðablik will be the opponents of our women’s team in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. The first senior European tie in our club’s history will begin in Iceland on 26 August, with the return leg in Miercurea Ciuc scheduled for 2 September.

We have started the new Superliga season with four defeats from four matches, but in Ovidiu we came extremely close to pulling off a remarkable result. Ádám Czékus scored twice to register our first goals of the league campaign, while in stoppage time only the crossbar denied us our first point away to Farul Constanța.
Our Women’s Super League team played another pre-season friendly, with Péter Kollár’s side defeating our first league opponents, Gloria Bistrița, 1–0 in Sovata. The match was decided by a stunning 28-metre strike from Anna Ezer late in the game.
