Our U15 team closed the autumn season with a goal-filled Cup victory over Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț on Saturday. Head coach Zoltán Fogarasi evaluates the match and the entire season.

The two teams were not in the same weight class, which makes this match difficult to assess from a technical perspective. We dominated throughout, scoring our goals in a good rhythm and essentially deciding the encounter already in the first half. The second half was also about us, although we created fewer chances than in the opening period; nevertheless, we remained very dominant in our play.

I am very pleased that Olivér Boga, an U14 player, scored his first goal in the older age group.

With today’s match, the official part of the autumn season has come to an end, and the team performed excellently both in the league and in the Cup so far, which fills me with great pride. As a newly established academy age group, I congratulate the players on their performance this autumn, thank my staff for their work, and express our gratitude for the support provided by the club and the Academy.

Since the summer, the team has already played 28 matches, so we are truly looking forward to the winter break. Nevertheless, we are not stopping yet, as next week we will face the corresponding age group of Puskás Ferenc Academy and participate in the 1st Isa Gábor International Tournament organized by Bp. Honvéd FC.

Perhaps it is a little early, but I would like to take this opportunity to wish the team, my colleagues, and all employees of the Academy and the club a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with sporting success.
