Former academy player Corbu Marius has remained a key starter for his Cypriot club, APOEL Nicosia. He started all three of the team’s October matches, coming off only toward the end of each. APOEL enjoyed a 4–0 away win over Omonia Aradippou – with Marius delivering two assists – alongside two draws: 2–2 against Olympiakos Nicosia and 1–1 against AEK Larnaca.

Tamás Nándor and his side, FC Komárno, have enjoyed a strong spell in the Slovak top division, recording a 0–0 draw with Tatran Prešov and two 1–0 wins over Ružomberok and AS Trenčín. However, they fell 3–2 at home to Slovan Bratislava after conceding twice in stoppage time. Nándor started all four games and scored the only goal in the win over Ružomberok. Komárno currently have 14 points, and took the 7th place from 12.

At Universitatea Cluj, Omar El Sawy had a difficult month. After the defeat in Miercurea Ciuc, in which he played one half under coach Ovidiu Sabău, he lost the manager’s trust and was left out of the squad for the next two league matches. He returned to the field on October 29 in the Romanian Cup against Metalul Buzău, this time under Cristian Bergodi’s management. Cluj won 2–1, with Omar coming on at halftime and providing the decisive assist for Taiwo’s extra-time winner.

In Hungary’s second division, Vajda Roland continues to be a cornerstone of the defense at Kozármisleny. He played every minute of their three October league matches, helping the team secure a draw at Budafok, a home win over Budapest Honvéd, and an away victory at Ajka. Kozármisleny currently sit ninth in the 16-team table.
