The coach emphasized that his team once again lost a match in which they did not deserve defeat.

– This season, it is not the first time we have lost a match where we did not deserve to leave the pitch as the losing side, as the boys once again showed good football, the right attitude and great determination – said Bernát Burus.

He highlighted the tactical discipline and the heavy workload of the past week.

– We played in a very organized manner, with huge tactical discipline and at a good tempo, despite the fact that this was already our third match in the past week. I can proudly say that in all three matches we managed to outperform our opponents and play better than them. In youth football, beyond results, it is important to see what this team was capable of against opponents like Rapid or Farul, because both physically and tactically the boys were able to rise above them – he explained.

He also spoke about the key moments of the game.

– In today’s match as well, there was tremendous determination from the boys, they fought with great effort and seriousness to keep the three points at home. Unfortunately, we failed to capitalize on the 4–5 clear chances we created, and football can punish you mercilessly, especially when you cannot score even into an empty net from clear-cut situations – he said.

In closing, he looked ahead.

– We must and need to continue building on this good performance, even if, unfortunately, it is not always accompanied by a positive result – concluded Bernát Burus.
