We have started the new Superliga season with four defeats from four matches, but in Ovidiu we came extremely close to pulling off a remarkable result. Ádám Czékus scored twice to register our first goals of the league campaign, while in stoppage time only the crossbar denied us our first point away to Farul Constanța.
Our Women’s Super League team played another pre-season friendly, with Péter Kollár’s side defeating our first league opponents, Gloria Bistrița, 1–0 in Sovata. The match was decided by a stunning 28-metre strike from Anna Ezer late in the game.
Our Superliga side are preparing for their third away fixture in the opening four rounds. István Szabó’s team will face Farul Constanța at the Gheorghe Hagi Stadium in Ovidiu on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 18:30.
