Our Women's Youth League team claimed a 3–1 away victory against LPS Buzău thanks to two late goals and remain top of Group 1. The ninth-round results are not yet complete: the result of the Chiajna–Farul match has not yet been reported, while Rapid have played one game fewer than us.

We took the lead as early as the 3rd minute, when Pap-Ieney Ingrid opened the scoring. According to head coach Berkeczy Emőke, we controlled the game throughout, created several chances and hit the woodwork three times, but were unable to extend our advantage for much of the match.

The hosts equalised in the 78th minute through a penalty converted by Alexandru Ștefania. However, our team struck again in the closing stages: Kádár Noémi restored our lead in the 81st minute, before Pintea-Scurtu Denisa Annamária sealed the 3–1 victory in the 86th minute.

After the match, Berkeczy Emőke gave her assessment:

– We dominated the match from start to finish and created some good chances, but unfortunately we couldn't convert them into goals: we hit the woodwork three times. Our opponents only managed to get into our penalty area once, and they were awarded a questionable penalty, which brought the score to 1–1. After that, the girls took the game more seriously and kept the opposition under constant pressure, which eventually led us to victory.
