Fogarasi Zoltán said his side had taken to the pitch with the clear intention of winning following Tuesday’s draw. Although the coaching staff were aware of their opponents’ previous results, they did not want to base their approach on them and treated the match with full seriousness.
“We took the lead in the very first minute. We played confidently in both attack and defence. We built a considerable advantage by half-time, but I was pleased not only with the goals but also with the way we handled different match situations and created our chances,” the head coach explained.
The pattern of the match did not change after the interval: FK increased the pressure and scored eight more goals. Fogarasi highlighted that his players maintained the right attitude throughout, with the goals coming from a variety of situations.
“We scored at a good rate, and the goals were also pleasing to watch. We found the net from a set piece, long-range shots, through balls and combination play. The players completed every task I asked of them, so our victory was fully deserved, even by this margin,” Fogarasi Zoltán said.
The head coach offered special congratulations to Géczi Mihály, who is two years younger than the age group and made his U16 debut in goal in this match.
“I wish him every success in the future. I hope he enjoys many rewarding moments in football and receives as many opportunities as possible with FK’s youth teams,” he added.

Unused substitutes: Stoica Matei, Dan Francesco. Head coach: Nicorescu Cioriciu Nouras Alin.
In his assessment, Burus Bernát noted that his team were playing their third match in the space of a week and had to take to the pitch with a depleted squad because of injuries, illness and other circumstances.
“We played laboriously and started the match far too softly and without sufficient concentration. This time, we did not show the side of ourselves that characterised us in the opening three rounds,” the head coach said.
According to Burus, his players must quickly learn the lessons of the match and understand that the three points will never be handed to them.
“To earn them, we must show our best in every match, with the right attitude, the necessary intensity and maximum concentration,” he stressed.
The coach congratulated his side on the victory but was not satisfied with either their performance or their attitude.
“I congratulate the team on securing the three points, but our performance and attitude left a great deal to be desired. We must learn from this and show much more in our next match,” Burus Bernát concluded.
