U18
FK’s youth team took the lead in the 21st minute through Róbert Rónai in the match played in Ovidiu against Farul, in Round 6 of the Youth League play-off. However, the hosts equalized just two minutes later and turned the game around before the break.
Our hopes of leveling the score were further reduced midway through the second half when Goran Kopunovic’s side was reduced to ten men. According to the referees, Gábor Juhos responded in an inappropriate and disproportionate manner to a provocation from Farul player Oancea. While the home player received only a yellow card, the FK player was sent off. The hosts eventually sealed the victory five minutes before the end of regular time.

Our U17 team had little chance of taking points at the home of the leaders. Farul practically decided the match in the first half thanks to Minescu’s brace, while Rezmiveș closed the game in the 65th minute.
