Our U15 team outperformed their opponent in every phase of the game and deservedly secured all three points with a two-goal victory away at Petrolul. After the match, head coach Zoltán Fogarasi shared his thoughts.
He explained that for most of the game our side kept control, but for a long time struggled to break down the hosts’ well-organized defense. – “Already in the first half we enjoyed overwhelming possession and created chances, but only managed to hit the post against an opponent that played with great discipline,” said the coach.
He added that after the break the team also managed to impose their physical superiority, which led to new opportunities and, eventually, goals. – “In the second half our dominance was finally reflected on the scoreboard. We were better in every phase of the game and won fully deservedly, on a pitch that was far from suitable for football,” noted Zoltán Fogarasi.
The head coach also emphasized that it was especially pleasing to record the team’s first clean sheet of the season. – “More and more of the elements learned in training are appearing as automatisms in the boys’ play, which is a clear sign of their development. I also want to thank the staff, who contribute greatly to the players’ progress,” the coach concluded his assessment.
