FK Csíkszereda were not considered favourites before their final U15 league match of 2025, and in the first half the visitors indeed put us under pressure. However, Bâlbâe’s brilliant saves repeatedly kept us in the game. As time went on, Fogarasi Zoltán’s boys grew more and more into the match, and the game became much more balanced. Early in the second half we witnessed a rare scene: FCSB striker Tamaș simulated a foul to win a penalty, and the referees, applying the age-group rule, sent him off for seven minutes. We couldn’t capitalise on the temporary man advantage, and in the 59th minute Șerban punished a defensive lapse to give FCSB the lead.
FK Csíkszereda did not give up, and their perseverance paid off: in the 74th minute, substitute Debrenti finished off an excellent right-wing cross from Polgár, who had been outstanding throughout the game. While the visitors seemed to slow down in the final minutes, our boys kept fighting until the very end. Thus it happened that in the last action of the match, in the 4th minute of added time, Debrenti tried his luck from the left side, outside the box, and the ball – with the help of the far post – nestled into the net: 2–1!
With this win, FK Csíkszereda stay close to the podium, while FCSB miss the chance to finish the year as leaders. The U15 age group still won’t go on winter break, as two cup matches await them.
