The group stage concluded on the opening day of the second Burus Csaba Memorial Tournament for U16 teams. FK Csíkszereda won both of their matches on Friday to reach Saturday’s final, where they will face Group B winners Kispest-Honvéd.
Our team began the tournament with a thrilling 3–2 victory over Puskás Ferenc Labdarúgó Akadémia. FK then recorded a convincing 4–0 win over CSA Steaua Bucharest in the evening match, finishing top of the group with six points and securing their place in the final.
Kispest-Honvéd topped Group B after recording two victories without conceding a goal. The Budapest side first defeated TSC Topolya 2–0 before claiming a 1–0 win over Sepsi OSK. TSC Topolya finished second in the group after scoring four goals against Sepsi OSK.
