Our U15 team’s weekend match against FC Bacău was truly memorable, as we managed to keep the points at home after a dramatic battle.

Head coach Zoltán Fogarasi evaluated the game as follows:

“In the first half we played according to our pre-agreed game plan: we took away the space and time from our opponent. We scored early, which gave the team even more confidence, and our two-goal lead was fully deserved based on the run of play.

In the second half, after the early sending-off, a new match practically began, but thanks to our organized defending, the opponent did not create any major chances. However, we struggled with defensive set pieces against a strong opponent, who scored both of their goals from corners. In these game situations we definitely need to improve in the future.

It would have been unfair fate if the opponent had equalized from the penalty awarded against us in the last minute of stoppage time, but thanks to the brilliant save of Robert Bâlbâe, who entered the match excellently, we deservedly won the game.”
