The Youth League play-off continued with Round 9, as our U18 side travelled to face FC Bacău and secured a convincing 2–0 victory.
In the first half, we controlled the game, playing in an organised and focused manner. We built several promising attacks and kept the hosts under pressure, but despite the chances created, the score remained 0–0 at the break.
After halftime, our dominance quickly paid off: in the 48th minute, Tóth-Pál Előd opened the scoring. The home side enjoyed more possession afterwards but failed to create clear opportunities. Our team remained disciplined defensively and gradually regained control as the match approached its closing stages.
The pressure resulted in a second goal in the 79th minute, as Tóth-Pál Előd found the net again to seal the victory.
The overall performance, defensive discipline and second-half efficiency led to a deserved away win.
