We closed the fifth round of the Elite Cup group stage with two convincing home victories. Our U15 and U16 teams faced Politehnica Iași, and both secured qualification to the quarter-finals from the top of their respective groups. U16
We could move away from the relegation play-off places if we manage to take all three points from Ploiești on Sunday. To do so, we must carry our strong home form into away matches as well.
Our U14 academy team played four matches at the Szomszédvár Cup, drawing with Eszék, defeating Várda LA, and then falling short against Kassa and Munkács in the international tournament.
