Two FK Csíkszereda players were recently part of Romania’s U15 women’s national team squad.

The national side took part in a friendly tournament in Malta, where they faced the same-age teams of Northern Ireland, Lithuania and Malta. FK Csíkszereda was represented by Zvenyák Johanna and Ieney-Pap Ingrid.

Zvenyák Johanna started in all three matches, played the full games, and scored a goal against Malta. Ieney-Pap Ingrid came on as a substitute in each match.

Romania, however, lost all three games: 3–2 against Northern Ireland, 3–1 against Lithuania and 2–1 against Malta.

October national team call-ups

Several players from the FK Csíkszereda academy have once again been called up to various Romanian youth national teams during the October international break.
