U14
Kovács Tamás’s team started well, creating two big chances early on, but the hosts took the lead with a powerful long-range strike. In the 18th minute, we were reduced to ten men after a justified red card for Boga Olivér, forcing us to focus on heroic defending and quick counterattacks. After the break, Benkes András equalized with a brilliant individual effort, but late in the match, the home side capitalized on a defensive lapse to score the winning goal.
Head coach Kovács Tamás said: “As long as we played with a full squad, we had two great chances, but they scored first through individual brilliance. After our centre-back was sent off early, we had to completely change our plans. Even a man down, we held our ground well and could have turned the game around with our counterattacks.”
“The equalizer came after a corner, giving the team fresh momentum. We focused on closing spaces and defensive stability, and for a long time, it looked like we’d take a point. Unfortunately, we conceded the second goal in a moment when the missing player’s presence would have made a difference.”
“Still, I’m proud of the boys — they fought on a deep, slippery pitch and spent almost the entire match in numerical inferiority. They showed that we can fight for each other even in the toughest circumstances,” concluded Kovács Tamás.

Tankó Hunor’s team claimed a confident and goal-filled victory in Bacău. Our youngsters scored ten goals in the first half alone, dominated throughout, and continued to extend their lead after the break. Although the small pitch could have posed a challenge, they adapted quickly and delivered focused, efficient football.
Head coach Tankó Hunor said: “We played against a much less experienced team, but the boys responded well to the conditions and quickly adapted to the field. Most of the game was played in the opponent’s half, while our defence and goalkeepers performed confidently.”
“Congratulations to the boys — everyone gave their best, and we fully deserved this emphatic win. The team’s progress and attitude are becoming more evident with every match,” added the coach.
