The 2025–2026 season has kicked off in the oldest pre-academy age groups, U13 and U14, with our opponents from Onești visiting us in the first round.

In the 2025–2026 season, our U13 and U14 teams are placed in Group 2 of the age-group Elite Leagues, consisting exclusively of teams from Moldova apart from us: four from Bacău, two from Vaslui, and one from Onești and Huși. Compared to last year’s group, which included teams from the Brașov area, the Sibiu region, and Sepsi OSK, this year’s participation involves even more travel and higher costs in a league whose results are neither recorded nor published by the federation, and no awards are given at the end – in fact, Sepsi OSK is not even competing in these age groups in the Elite League this year.

For U13, the rule remains that, with line changes, matches are played in two 60-minute halves in an 8+1 format, with full line changes halfway through each half, meaning each team needs at least 18 players for each match. In U14, as before, matches are 70 minutes long, with two 35-minute halves, played in an 11-a-side format.

Our technical staff members reported on the first-round matches.

U14

The match began with clear dominance from our team, and we managed to take the lead as early as the 3rd minute. After a beautiful pass into the box, Deák Kristóf delivered the ball to Benedek András, who made no mistake – 1–0. In the 10th minute, we scored again from a set piece: Boga Olivér headed in from 7–8 meters after an excellent cross by Becze Balázs – 2–0. In the 35th minute, Gagiu Milán extended our lead with a long-range shot – 3–0.

In the second half, the substitutes also contributed well to our play, and in the 50th minute their impact turned into a goal: recently substituted Benő Ádám tapped the ball into the empty net from Makkai Vince’s pass – 4–0. In the 53rd minute, Makkai Vince fought on and fired from the right side into the bottom left corner – 5–0. Just a minute later, Vince scored again, this time with a clever placed shot – 6–0.

An almost perfect performance was blemished in the 62nd minute by a mistake: our goalkeeper gifted the ball to the opponent’s striker, who took advantage to set the final score at 6–1.

Our U13 team also claimed a commanding win against Onești, although in the 3rd minute the visitors took the lead with a long-range shot – 0–1. In the 14th minute, after a beautiful team move, we equalized: Tikosi Magor surged forward down the right with fine dribbles and pace, then crossed to the arriving Albert Alpár, who finished neatly – 1–1. In the 23rd minute, a moment of individual brilliance from Albert Alpár gave us the lead – 2–1. The score remained 2–1 until the break.
In the 62nd minute, Albert Alpár pounced on a rebound to complete his hat-trick – 3–1. In the 73rd minute, he won a penalty and selflessly handed the opportunity to Kocsis Attila, who converted confidently – 4–1.
