The FK Csíkszereda U15 girls’ team have reached the final of the Women’s U15 Liga Elitelor, after defeating Politehnica Timișoara 3–2 in Thursday’s semi-final of the Final Four tournament in Buftea.
The FK Csíkszereda U15 girls’ team have reached the final of the Women’s U15 Liga Elitelor, after defeating Politehnica Timișoara 3–2 in Thursday’s semi-final of the Final Four tournament in Buftea.
Portik Helga’s team made an excellent start to the match, taking the lead as early as the first minute through Johanna Zvenyák. Our team also proved effective later on: Klementina Maksai scored in the 39th minute, before Emőke Benő also found the net as the match approached its closing stages, scoring our team’s third goal in the 61st minute.
The team from Timișoara scored twice, each time reducing the deficit to one goal, but our academy’s U15 girls ultimately held on to their advantage and, after a hard-fought match, secured their place in the final.
Our team will play in the Women’s U15 Liga Elitelor final in Buftea on Friday, starting at 12:30.
